The story of
Ramona Stoian
Ramona Stoian is a talented author known for her emotionally engaging short stories and novels focused on drama, mystery, and psychological themes. Since childhood, she has been passionate about quotes, collecting them as a way to hold on to meaning and feeling.
Her first published novel, “A Slow Goodbye,” is based on real events. It follows Elira, a daughter facing the slow decline of her mother’s health. As grief begins before loss, Elira slips between reality and dreams, unsure which offers more peace. Her experience reflects a truth many face in mourning, offering readers a powerful message that life continues. The novel also draws attention to issues within the medical system, revealing quiet failures that affect the most vulnerable.
While working on her second novel, Ramona began another project. She initially planned to publish a collection of famous Romanian quotes, but copyright concerns halted its completion. Instead, she wrote her own reflections. These original quotes matched with one of her photographs and became “Shades of Simple Beauty Reflections 81.” Every image was chosen for what it made her feel at the time it was taken. The book invites the reader to interact with its pages. Below each quote is space to write, draw, or simply respond in a personal way, allowing the book to serve as both inspiration and private journal.
All royalties from this work go toward medical care and sterilization for stray cats, a cause she strongly supports.
- Ramona Stoian writes with sincerity, offering readers stories and ideas that stay with them long after the last page.
